AAA: Florida gas prices are the highest they’ve been since 2022

As of the first week of May, Florida's average gas price has reached $4.34 per gallon, marking the highest level since 2022. According to AAA, this increase of 40 cents per gallon over the past week is attributed to ongoing geopolitical tensions, including the war in Iran. The current prices reflect a significant rise from an average of $2.88 per gallon.
