The best comedy coming to Tampa Bay in November, including ‘SNL’ alum Leslie Jones, JB Ball’s homecoming, and more — Safety Harbor Arts news

Leslie Jones Credit: Peggy Sirota / United Talent Agency November is known for family, food, football and funny shows across Tampa Bay. This one’s no exception. Character actor David Koechner comes to Side Splitters, while alumni from “Saturday Night Live” and “In Living Color” (Leslie Jones and Tommy Davidson) come to Tampa Theatre and Funny Bone, respectively. The home team gets a big win, too, when former Best of the Bay winner JB Ball opens for Brad Williams at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Have a look below for Tampa Bay’s November comedy calendar, which always includes funny locals, road dogs and internet notables. As always, check each venue’s website for their complete, up-to-date calendar. Daniel Sloss Sunday, Nov. 1. 7 p.m. $47.25 and up. Tampa Theatre, Downtown Tampa Tommy Savitt Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 5-7. 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday. $22.50. Snappers, Palm Harbor Rickey Smiley Friday, Nov. 6. $58.50 and up. Tampa Theatre, Downtown
